The OnePlus 13s has been one of the few genuinely compact flagships you can buy in India, and until this week it topped out at 12GB of RAM. That has changed. OnePlus has quietly added a 16GB + 512GB configuration to the line-up at Rs 68,999, sitting above the two variants that were already on sale. It is a memory-and-storage addition rather than a new phone, but at this price point it puts the 13s into direct conversation with much larger flagships.
Here is what is actually confirmed about the new variant, what it costs next to the older configurations, and whether the extra RAM is worth roughly Rs 9,000 over the 12GB + 512GB model. We have also pulled together the cases and screen protection Royal Star stocks for this exact model, because the 13s has a glass back and a camera island that sits proud of it.
OnePlus 13s Price in India: Every Variant
With the new configuration added, the OnePlus 13s line-up in India now reads:
- 12GB + 256GB - Rs 54,999
- 12GB + 512GB - Rs 59,999
- 16GB + 512GB - Rs 68,999 (new)
The jump from 12GB + 512GB to 16GB + 512GB is Rs 9,000, and the only difference between those two is 4GB of RAM. That is a steep premium for memory alone, and it is worth being clear-eyed about it before you order.
Availability and Colours
The 16GB + 512GB model is listed on Amazon India and the OnePlus India online store. It is offered in Black Velvet and Green Silk; the Pink Satin finish that exists on lower variants has not been listed for this configuration. OnePlus is running the usual launch-window bank offer of up to Rs 2,000 instant discount on HDFC, ICICI, Kotak, IDFC First and IndusInd credit cards, which is a promotional offer and can change at any time.
Note the distinction that trips a lot of buyers up: the OnePlus 13s itself is not a new phone. This is a new variant of a phone already on sale, so there is no separate 'first sale date' to wait for - the configuration went live alongside the announcement.
Key Specifications
Nothing on the hardware sheet moves apart from memory and storage:
- Display: 6.32-inch 1.5K LTPO ProXDR AMOLED, 120Hz adaptive, 1,600 nits peak
- Processor: Snapdragon 8 Elite
- Rear cameras: 50MP main + 50MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom
- Front camera: 32MP
- Battery: 5,850mAh with 80W wired charging
- Software: OxygenOS 15 on Android 15, with 4 OS upgrades and 6 years of security patches
- Body: 150.8 x 71.7 x 8.2mm, 185g
That 6.32-inch screen and 185g weight are the real story of this phone. Most flagships in India now sit at 6.7 inches and well over 200g, and the 13s is one of the few that still fits a hand comfortably.
Should You Buy the 16GB Variant?
Honestly, for most people the 12GB + 512GB model at Rs 59,999 is the smarter buy. You get the same chip, the same cameras, the same battery and the same storage. The extra 4GB helps if you routinely keep a large number of heavy apps resident in memory, or if you want a little more headroom for on-device AI features over a four-year ownership window - but it will not make the phone feel faster day to day.
The case for the 16GB model is longevity rather than speed. OnePlus is promising four Android upgrades and six years of security patches on this device, and RAM is the one thing you cannot add later. If you genuinely keep phones for five years, the maths is less absurd than it looks. If you upgrade every two or three, save the Rs 9,000.
The other honest caveat: at Rs 68,999 you are shopping against larger-battery, bigger-screen flagships. The 13s wins on size and hand feel, not on spec-sheet value. Buy it because you want a compact phone, not because the numbers add up.

Protecting the OnePlus 13s
The 13s pairs a glass back with a raised camera island, which is the exact combination that picks up hairline scratches on a desk. It also supports magnetic accessories, so a case with a proper magnet array is worth having if you use a wireless charger or a car mount. Royal Star stocks cases and screen protection cut specifically for this model - including clear anti yellow back cover options that resist the amber tint cheap TPU develops within months, and full glue tempered glass for edge-to-edge screen coverage.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the price of the OnePlus 13s 16GB variant in India?
The 16GB + 512GB variant of the OnePlus 13s is priced at Rs 68,999 in India. The 12GB + 256GB model remains at Rs 54,999 and the 12GB + 512GB model at Rs 59,999.
Where can I buy the OnePlus 13s 16GB + 512GB model?
It is available through Amazon India and the OnePlus India online store, in Black Velvet and Green Silk. Pink Satin has not been listed for this configuration.
Is the 16GB OnePlus 13s faster than the 12GB version?
Not meaningfully in everyday use. Both run the same Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The extra 4GB of RAM mainly helps keep more apps resident in memory and adds headroom over a long ownership period, rather than making the phone feel quicker.
Does the OnePlus 13s support magnetic cases and wireless charging accessories?
The 13s works with magnetic case accessories such as car mounts and magnetic power banks when you use a case with a built-in magnet array. Cases without magnets will not hold alignment, so check the product description before ordering.
Final Thoughts
A 16GB variant is a small addition, but it tells you something about where the compact flagship sits now: OnePlus is comfortable charging Rs 68,999 for a 6.32-inch phone because almost nobody else is making one. If size is what you are buying, the 13s is still close to unrivalled in India. If value is what you are buying, the Rs 59,999 variant does the same job. Either way, put a case on it before the camera island meets a table.
